Syrian Prime Minister, Dr. Wael al-Halqi said that the Syrian Arab army has made considerable achievements in the battle against terrorism and that victory is close at hand.
During his meeting on Monday with Chairman of the Association of Syrian Pharmacists, Dr. Fares al-Shaar and the association's members, al-Halqi hailed the role and outstanding efforts of the health sector in Syria, adding ''Health is one of the national sectors that suffered due to sanctions and armed attacks.''
The prime minister expressed the ministry's readiness to ensure the transport of medicine and backing medical industry, pledging to offer all necessary backing to the association and upgrade the relevant laws and legislations.
He pointed to the change in the international attitude on the situation in Syria, underlining the efforts and initiatives underway to crystallize a mutual vision for solving the crisis based on dialogue and national reconciliation, rejecting violence and foreign interference in the Syrian internal affairs.
Prime Minister al-Halqi stressed that the economic situation is secure and the Syrian economy is robust and diverse, indicating that the government is according great care to the basic goods and oil derivatives.
