Ambassador Shapiro: U.S. Made “Necessary Preparations” for Iran Attack

Kurt NimmoInfowars.comSeptember 29, 2012
Despite engaging in a shouting match with Bibi Netanyahu before a congressional delegation in Jerusalem last month, the U.S. ambassador to Israel, Dan Shapiro, told The Times of Israel on Thursday the United States and Israel are on the same page.
A photoshopped image of Netanyahu’s UN speech: the issue is not about Iran nuking Israel,
but Israel maintaining its hegemonic status in the Middle East.
“We’re totally focused on the same goal, which is preventing Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon. We’re in the closest possible consultations at the highest levels of our government,” Shapiro said after Netanyahu made his “red line” speech at the United Nations. “We’re absolutely focused on achieving that goal together. And we’ve been very well coordinated until now and I think we will remain very well coordinated.”
During the address, Netanyahu demanded the U.S. and the international community establish a red line that if crossed by Iran would result in an attack. The Israeli prime minister said the United States and Israel will attack “before Iran completes the second stage of nuclear enrichment where it’s a few months away or a few weeks away from amassing enough enriched uranium to make a nuclear weapon.”

Salafist Jihadist Movement in Jordan Announces Sending Terrorists to Syria

The salafist movement in Jordan on Friday announced that it has sent terrorists to Syria to participate in 'Jihad' against the Syrian army.
A source at the movement, who preferred not to be named, told the UPI that four of the salafist jihadist movement in al-Zarqa city, northeastern Jordan, already headed to Syria.

The source noted that the salafists, who are between 25 and 30, arrived on Thursday evening in Daraa in northern Syria.

Mohammad al-Shalabi, nicknamed Abi Sayyaf, who is a leader at the salafist jihadist movement in Jordan, announced last Sunday that he sent four of his followers to Syria for 'Jihad'.

He noted that some of the salafists go to Syria regularly, while others go personally.

‘Innocence of Muslims’ producer jailed for probation violation

The filmmaker reported to be behind the Islamophobic video that sparked anti-US protests the world over has been arrested and jailed for violating the terms of his probation.

Federal Judge Suzanne H. Segal ruled that the California man, Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, should be jailed after a federal prosecutor said he had eight probation violations, including lying to his probation officers and using aliases.
"The court has a lack of trust in the defendant,” Judge Segal said, ordering Nakoula to be handcuffed and shackled in court.
He “has every incentive to disappear,” Assistant US Attorney Robert Dugdale added, noting that the filmmaker has a“lengthy pattern of deception.”

The Syrian Opposition and Terrorism

The west has once again armed, trained and supported terrorist forces in an internal conflict in a sovereign nation, breaching international law; the murderous activities of this scourge is the responsibility of the operationals on the ground and their foreign military and political backers. Once again, the FUKUS Axis is in deep trouble.
The hand of the FUKUS Axis (France, UK and US) was visible in Libya, where Benghazi was used as a base as the Libyan government slowly lost control of the Cyrenaica region, after which tho0usands of terrorist mercenaries poured into Libya from the already-secured frontiers of Tunisia to the west and Egypt to the east. The shocking crimes of these terrorists are the responsibility of their masters overseas and these were drawn up in an indictment presented by the author et al (*).
The International Criminal Court at The Hague has not to date even acknowledged receipt of the document, let alone open an investigation and delivery to the European Court of Human Rights merited a cryptic message that this would not be investigated by this court.
Moving on to Syria, it is patently obvious that the Syrian Armed Opposition (the Opposition is split into tens of factions, some of which are conciliatory and unarmed, most of which are totally against the barbarity of the FSA, the so-called Free Syrian Army, which bears all the hallmarks of a FUKUS terrorist force, given the degree of atrocities and the lying by western media about who or what is really perpetrating the crimes.

Press TV correspondent killed in Syrian capital

Insurgents in the Syrian capital Damascus have attacked Press TV staff, killing the Iranian English-language news network’s correspondent Maya Naser, and injuring its Damascus Bureau Chief Hosein Mortada.

Naser came under attack while reporting on air just hours ago. He was shot and killed by a sniper.

Press TV and Al-Alam Damascus Bureau Chief Hosein Mortada also came under attack and was injured.
The two were covering twin blasts in Damascus and the ensuing fighting.

“We hold Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, who provide militants weapons to kill civilians, military personnel and journalists, responsible for killing Maya,” Press TV’s News Room Director Hamid Reza Emadi said.

“Press TV will pursue the matter of the murder of Maya and would not let those who killed the correspondent feel like they can kill the media people and get away with it,” he emphasized.

Born on July 30, 1979 in Syria, Maya Naser studied political science at KUPLAN University, NY, US. He was fluent in Arabic and English and had worked in many countries including the USA, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt and Bahrain.

Al-Halqi: Victory is Close at Hand

Syrian Prime Minister, Dr. Wael al-Halqi said that the Syrian Arab army has made considerable achievements in the battle against terrorism and that victory is close at hand.

During his meeting on Monday with Chairman of the Association of Syrian Pharmacists, Dr. Fares al-Shaar and the association's members, al-Halqi hailed the role and outstanding efforts of the health sector in Syria, adding ''Health is one of the national sectors that suffered due to sanctions and armed attacks.''

USA Manufacturing "Failed States"

Sep 23, 2012 | By Edward S. Herman

The United States has mastered the art of undermining its targets by fomenting domestic terrorism, and then laying the responsibility on them for the crimes

sponsored by Washington itself. This method affords it the possibility both to justify military intervention and to carry it out without risk. The well-oiled scheme described here by Edward S. Herman is now being applied in Syria.

During the Vietnam War, a sign over one of the U.S. army bases read “Killing Is Our Business, and Business Is Good.” Well, it was a very good business in Vietnam (and Cambodia, Laos, and Korea as well), the number of civilian deaths running into the millions. And it has been quite respectable in the years after Vietnam. The killings have been carried out both directly and via proxies on every continent, as U.S. “national security” has required bases, garrisons, assassinations, invasions, bombing wars, and the sponsorship of killer regimes, real terror networks, and programs everywhere in response to terrorist threats and challenges to the "pitiful giant." Jan Knippers Black pointed out years ago in her great book [1] that “national security” is a wonderfully elastic concept, expanding in accord with “what a nation, class or institution…thinks it should have,” with the result that it is those “whose wealth and power would appear to make them most secure who are, in fact, most paranoid, and who, by their frenetic attempts to ensure their security, bring on their own destruction.” (She was addressing the 1960s Brazilian threat of social democracy and its termination by a U.S.-supported counter-revolution and military dictatorship.) Add to this the search by the vested interests of the military-industrial-complex for missions to justify budget increases, and the mainstream media’s full cooperation in this search, and we have a frightening reality.

Syrian Army Units Kill Large Number of Terrorists in Aleppo

The armed forces on Sunday cleared the area of Qasr al-Wali restaurant in al-Sayyid Ali in the city of Aleppo form the mercenary terrorists.
SANA reporter learned that the terrorists had been using the restaurant as a center for carrying out their terrorist operations.

In Aleppo countryside, the armed forces carried out a qualitative operation killing a large number of terrorists who attacked army units in al-Atareb area.

Sniper Yousef Deya was killed while trying to escape from al-Arkoub area and two DShK-equipped cars were destroyed in al-Khazzan area in Aleppo.

CHP: Erdogan's Support to Terrorism In Syria Threatens Turkey's National Security

Kemal Kilicdaroglu
Secretary-general of the Turkish Republican People's Party (Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi, CHP) Kemal Kilicdaroglu on Friday said that the support of the Prime Minister Recep Tayyib Erdogan's government to the terrorist acts in Syria poses threats on the Turkish national security.

During his participation in a large popular demonstration in Istanbul under the title "We Want Peace", Kilicdaroglu described the policies of Erdogan targeing Syria as dangerous and contrary to conscience and moral.

He stressed that the Turkish opposition will never accept any foreign interference in the Syrian affairs as the Syrian government didn't and will not accept foreign interference in the Turkish affairs.

Kilicdaroglu highlighted that Erdogan is following the dictations and policies of western capitals when dealing with the Syrian issue.

Swiss Grenades Exported to UAE Were Used by Terrorists in Syria

An investigation conducted by the Swiss government confirmed that Swiss-made hand grenades which were found with armed terrorists groups in Syria had been exported years ago by Switzerland to the Untied Arabs Emirates which gave some of them to Jordan.

The Swiss government issued a statement that the investigating committee discovered that the UAE delivered some of the aforementioned grenades to Jordan in 2004 to help it "confront terrorism" as per their claims, and that the grenades probably found their way to Syria from Jordan.

The statement didn't mention any intention of taking any step regarding this issue.

The investigation into this matter was launched after photographs were published showing grenades bearing the inscriptions "Offensive OHG92" and "SM 6-03-1" in the possession of terrorist groups in Syria, with the Swiss newspaper Sonntags Zeitung revealing in July that these grenades are OHG92 grenades manufactured by the Swiss company Ruag, and that they weren't exported to Syria directly.

Al-Assad Predicts Defeat for Rebels: Door for Dialogue Open

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has hit out at Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Qatar for arming Syrian rebels but insisted they will not win.

According to excerpts from an interview to appear in al-Ahram al-Arabi Egyptian newspaper on Friday, al-Assad stressed that "they [Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Qatar] suddenly saw money in their hands after a long period of poverty and think they can buy history and play a regional role."
"The widespread idea that Saudi Arabia, Syria and Egypt are the cornerstone of stability in the region is false. It has always been, and will remain, Syria, Iraq and Egypt," he added.

In parallel, al-Assad highlighted that "before the conflict, Riyadh served only as a mediator with the West that does not appreciate the axis of resistance against Zionism advocated by Syria."
He further mentioned that Qatar "uses the power of money and revolves in the orbit of the West by providing weapons and money to terrorists to repeat the scenario of Libya."

"The Qataris were the quickest to fuel the violence," he said.
Al-Assad also criticized Turkey, accusing Ankara of being unconcerned "about the interests of its people, focusing solely on its ambitions that include 'the new Ottoman empire',".
Meanwhile, the head of the Syrian state reiterated that "armed men" were "using terrorism against the Syrian state," but that they "have no support among the people. Ultimately they will not emerge victorious."
"It will take time" for regime forces to win, he said, adding that the "door to dialogue is open -- only talks with the opposition will solve the crisis."
Speaking from his office in the heart of Damascus, al-Assad said "change cannot be achieved through foreign intervention".

"Both sides of the equation are equal and political dialogue is the only solution. Violence, however, is not allowed ... and the state will not stand with its hands tied in the face of those who bear arms against it," he emphasized.

“The Innocence of Muslims”: Blasphemy as a Political Tactic

Thierry Meyssan
Infowars.com
September 20, 2012
The circulation on the Internet of the trailer for a film, "The Innocence of Muslims", sparked demonstrations across the world and resulted in the killing in Benghazi of the U.S. Ambassador to Libya and members of his entourage.
*        *        *
At first glance, these events can be located in the long line leading from Salman Rushdie’s Satanic Verses to the burnings of the Koran by Pastor Terry Jones. Nevertheless, this new attack differs from other incidents in that the film was not directed at a Western audience but instead was uniquely conceived as an instrument of provocation directed at Muslims.
In political terms, the affair can be analyzed from two angles: from the tactical perspective as an anti-U.S. manipulation; or from a strategic one, as an anti-Muslim psychological attack.
The film was produced by a Zionist group composed of Jews of double Israeli-American nationality and by an Egyptian Copt. It was completed several months ago but was released at a calculated moment to provoke riots targeting the United States.
Israeli agents were deployed in several large cities with a mission to channel the rage of the crowd against American or Coptic targets (though not Israeli ones). Not surprisingly, their maximum effect was attained in Benghazi, the capital of Libya’s Cyrenaica region.
The population of Benghazi is known to harbor particularly reactionary and racist groups. It is useful to recall that at the time the cartoons of Mohammed appeared in September, 2005, Salafists attacked the Danish Consulate. In keeping with the Vienna Convention on diplomacy, the Libyan government of Muammar al-Gaddafi deployed troops to protect the diplomatic service then under attack. The repression of the riot resulted in numerous deaths. Subsequently, the West, seeking to overthrow the Libyan regime, financed Salafist publications which accused Gaddafi of protecting the Danish Consulate because he had allegedly been behind the cartoon operation.
On February 15, 2011, Salafists organized in Benghazi a demonstration commemorating the massacre during which shooting erupted, an incident that marked the beginning of the Benghazi insurrection that opened the way to the NATO intervention. The Libyan police arrested three members of the Italian Special Forces who confessed to having fired from the rooftops on both demonstrators and the police to sew chaos and confusion. Held prisoner throughout the war that followed, they were released when NATO seized the capital and smuggled them out of the country to Malta in a small fishing boat on which I was also a passenger.
This time, the manipulation of the Benghazi crowd by Israeli agents had as its goal the assassination of the U.S. Ambassador, an act of war not seen since the Israeli bombardment of the USS Liberty by the Israeli Air Force and Navy in 1967. This constitutes the first assassination of an ambassador in the line of duty since 1979. The act is all the more grievous considering that in a country where the current central government is a purely legal fiction, the U.S. Ambassador was not merely a diplomat but was functioning as Governor, as the de facto head of state.
If, on the other hand, we examine this affair from the viewpoint of social psychology, the release of the film and its aftermath appear to be a frontal attack on the beliefs of Muslims. In this regard, it is similar in nature to the Pussy Riot episode trampling on the freedom of religious practice inside the Orthodox Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in Moscow and the mulitple performances of conceptual pornography the group engaged in afterwards. These are operations geared to violate societies that resist the project of global domination.
In democratic and multicultural societies, the sacred is seen as belonging to and being expressed within the private sphere. But a new collective space of the sacred has been in the process of elaboration. Western European states have passed “historical memory” laws which have transformed a historical event—the Nazi destruction of European Jews—into a religious occurrence: the “Shoa” in Jewish terminology, or the “Holocaust” as expressed in Christian evangelical parlance. Nazi crimes are thereby elevated to the level of a unique event at the expense of the victims of other massacres, including other victims of the Nazis. Questioning the dogma, i.e. this religious interpretation of historical facts, subjects one to criminal penalties, just as blasphemy was punished in the past. Similarly, in 2001, the U.S., the European Union member states and a number of their allies imposed by decree that entire national populations must observe a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the September 11 attacks. This ruling was underpinned by an ideological interpretation of the causes of the massacre. In both cases, having been killed because one was Jewish or because one was American confers a particular status on these victims before whom the rest of humanity must genuflect.
During the Olympic Games in London, both the Israeli and the American delegations attempted to enlarge their sacred space still further by imposing a minute of silence during the opening ceremony of the most-watched televised event in the world, this time on behalf of the hostages seized during the Munich Games of 1972. In the end, the proposal was rejected, with the Olympic Committee holding instead a separate ceremony. This is just a further indication of the effort to create a collective liturgy legitimating the global empire.
The Innocence of Muslims serves both as a device to bring Washington back into line at a moment when it may be stepping back from the Zionist agenda and as a means of pursuing it further by attacking the faith of still others who resist it.

More Evidence Neocon Network Behind “Innocence of Muslims” Video

In an article breaking down the linkages behind the “Innocence of Muslims” video, Justin Raimondo points to a chart on The Flower Throwers website:

Click image to see larger version
Drilling down the chart, we see the same old cast of neocon characters who have worked tirelessly to keep the anti-Muslim agenda front and center and thus feed the war on terror against Israel’s enemies. Principle among these are David Horowitz, Daniel Pipes and Aubrey Chernick.
Chernick is the lesser known of the three. He runs a Los Angeles-area software company named the National Center for Crisis and Continuity Coordination and is a former trustee of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy (WINEP), a think tank for Democrat neocons (Democrat Anthony Weiner once described this faction as “the ZOA [Zionist Organization of America] wing of the Democratic Party”). WINEP is a project of AIPAC, the Israeli pressure group. Chernick’s fortune is dedicated to funding the Anti-Defamation League and CAMERA (Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America), a group that counters negative reporting on Israel.
Daniel Pipes is the well-known Islamophobe who founded the Middle East Forum (MEF), an organization that attacks academics for criticizing Israel. MEF specializes in drawing attention to the so-called “Islamic network” in the United States. “Quietly, lawfully, peacefully, Islamists do their work throughout the West to impose aspects of Islamic law, win special privileges for themselves, shut down criticism of Islam, create Muslim-only zones, and deprive women and non-Muslims of their full civil rights,” Pipes wrote in 2008. He has supported many Likudnik and neocon initiatives and organizations, including the now-defunct Project for the New American Century (PNAC), the Israel-based advocacy outfit Jerusalem Summit, and the U.S. Committee for a Free Lebanon. Pipes was also a scholar at WINEP.
David Horowitz, a former radical Marxist, is a key member of the neocon intelligentsia. AsInfowars.com has noted, Horowitz has taken money from CIA operative Richard Mellon Scaife. TheDavid Horowitz Freedom Center is affiliated with Jihad Watch, the virulent anti-Muslim website run by anti-Islam blogger and author Robert Spencer, who along with Islamophobe Pam Geller (who founded Stop Islamization of America) plays an instrumental role in the “Innocence of Muslims” operation. Horowitz has described Islam as a religion of “hate, violence and racism.” Both Horowitz and Pipes have donated money to Geert Wilders, the Dutch anti-Muslim politician.
The more we learn about the “Innocence of Muslims” video, the more obvious it becomes that it was devised by a group of Islamophobes and hardcore radical Israel supporters to further enflame tensions in the Middle East.
The neocon Clash of Civilizations narrative requires an ultimate conflict between the West and Islam. We are now witnessing neocons in both establishment parties and Likudnik fanatics pushing religious and ethnic hatred and conflict to its zenith as the United States and Israel prepare a coordinated attack on Iran that will undoubtedly result in a world war with cataclysmic proportion.

“Dollar Index Headed for Rapid Collapse” Over Next 3 to 4 Weeks

If you think the Federal Reserve’s quantitative easing will only affect the US dollar, think again. Now that the United States has officially begun it’s third round of money printing to the tune of at least $40 billion monthly, central banks around the world will also act to ‘defend’ their currencies in kind.
Moreover, because everyone is joining the fray, all of that extra money will make its way into key resource stocks and commodities, adding further upside price pressure to essential goods like food and fuel.
It’s a race to the bottom, and the losers are the 99.9% of us who aren’t being kept in the loop.
Quantitative easing is really another word for currency wars. A weak U.S. currency puts continued pressure on the Japanese Yen, the Chinese Yuan, the South Korean Won, the Australian dollar and other currencies.
Cheap money also fuels speculation and this money quickly drifts into commodity markets and the ETFs that help propel commodity market speculation. This is inflationary for food prices.
The lower the U.S. dollar the greater the intensity of currency wars. The break below the key uptrend line on the Dollar Index chart was an early warning of the third round of quantitative easing (QE3).
The most important question now is to use the chart to examine the potential downside limits of a QE3 weakened U.S. dollar.
The weekly close below this uptrend line was the first signal of a major change in the trend direction. It came before the announcement of QE3, last week.
The third significant feature is historical support near 74.5. This is the upper edge of a consolidation band between 73.5 and 74.5. This is the downside target for the Dollar Index following a fall below 79.
This target can be reached very rapidly over three to four weeks. A rapid collapse of the U.S. dollar puts immediate pressure on other dollar-linked currencies.
There is a very low probability the U.S. dollar will resume its uptrend. The move below the value of the uptrend line and a fall below 79 confirm thata new downtrend has developed.
The weakness in the U.S. Dollar will hurt export dependent economies and companies.
There are two ways this may end – neither of which is going to be good for the average Joe:
  • The Fed et. al. continue to print, so much so that prices for food, gas, utilities and other key commodities that are linked to US dollar movements will rise exponentially. This rise in prices will accelerate the pressure on consumers as more jobs are lost in an ever progressing, self reinforcing economic death spiral. The pressure of rising prices, even though the Dow Jones may reach 20,000 or 50,000 points, will be so great that American consumers simply won’t be able to pay their bills or put food on the table.
  • The Fed and their brethren around the world won’t be able to print fast enough to maintain stable financial markets, leading to stock market crashes in Europe, Japan, China and the United States, which then leads to a shift of capital to US Treasury bonds, ironically strengthening the dollar. A weak US economy that isn’t creating jobs and is adding tens of thousands of people to an already overburdened social safety net every week will eventually lead to confidence being lost in the US government’s ability to repay its debts. As we noted in 2012 Predictions of a Mad Tin Foilist, the end result will be a currency crisis, or de facto default by way of hyperinflating away our debt.
Both scenarios are virtually the same, as both will end with complete and utter destruction of Americans’ wealth.
Despite the mainstream notion that inflation is under control and most of the money is sitting on the sidelines with banks, all we need to do is look at the price increases for consumers since private and public bailouts begin in late 2008. Gas has doubled. Food is up over 25%. Electricity costs and the cost of just about every other non-debt based asset has steadily risen.
This is not going to stop.
While timelines remain elusive because of never ending government intervention into financial markets and economies, the policies being instituted by central banks around the world can only lead to continued degradation of paper currencies and the rise in prices of all goods linked to those currencies.
In January of 2010 we suggested a strategy of buying physical commodities at today’s lower prices and consuming those commodities at tomorrow’s higher prices. The trend for fiat paper money and physical assets has not changed and is, in fact, more pronounced now than ever before.
The US dollar is being systematically weakened until it no longer exists as a viable means of exchange. When this happens you’d better be prepared to operate in a society where traditional money is replaced with mechanisms of exchange like precious metals, food, critical supplies andproduction skills.
You can begin taking simple steps to prepare now. The collapse of the existing global paradigm is accelerating and if you’re not ready for it the price you’ll pay will be severe.

Syrian Civilians Forced To Skip 2012 Hajj By Saudi Regime

Syrian Muslims will have to skip the annual pilgrimage to Mecca this year due to a conflict between their government and Saudi Arabia. The Syrian side carried out all the required procedures for pilgrimage season, which is scheduled to begin next month, but Saudi authorities failed to agree on details on time, Syria's SANA state news agency reports. Relations between the two countries have deteriorated badly over the Syrian civil war as Saudi Arabia backs the rebellion seeking the ouster of President Bashar al-Assad's government.

Turkey kills some 500 Kurdish rebels in one month – Turk PM

Some 500 Kurdish rebels were killed over the past month by Turkish security forces, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Monday. Over the past 10 days, 123 Kurdish rebels were killed during an ongoing military operation in the southeastern city of Hakkari, the country’s border with Iraq. Hakkari was the site of frequent clashes between the separatists and government forces, AFP reported. The Turkish army staged nearly 1,000 operations over the last six months to drive out rebels belonging to the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

Iran Atomic Chief Says Explosives Cut Power At Facility

This satellite image  shows Iran's
underground nuclear facility at Fordo

Explosive blasts destroyed power lines to Iran's underground nuclear facility at Fordo last month, the head of Iran's atomic agency said at a meeting of UN atomic agency member states Monday.

"On ... 17th August 2012, the electric power lines from the city of Qom to the Fordo complex ... were cut using explosives," Fereydoon Abbasi Davani told the 155-nation International Atomic Energy Agency gathering in a speech.

Davani did not accuse anyone of sabotage, but in the past Iran has claimed both Israel and the United States were behind the assassinations of nuclear scientists and computer viruses targetting its facilities.

Do Neocons Want More Violent Anti US Protests From Muslims?

Pamela Geller, a Islamophobe Neocon
The highly provocative anti-Muslim video “trailer” researchers claim is the handiwork of the Islamophobic provocateurs Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer and a resurgent neocon network is responsible for a new round of violent protests in the Middle East.
From the nation with the world’s largest Muslim population, Indonesia, to Afghanistan, new protests broke out on Monday. Indonesian police fired teargas and water cannon to disperse demonstrators outside the U.S. Embassy in Jakarta, while in Kabul, Afghanistan, thousands of Muslims took to the streets and set fire to cars and shops and threw stones at police. Protesters also clashed with police in Pakistan and the Philippines on Monday.

Iran Responds to Massive Western Naval Gathering in the Persian Gulf

Iranian President
Following a story published in The Telegraph reporting an armada of U.S. and British ships amassing in the Persian Gulf, a top commander in Iran’s Revolutionary Guard warned Sunday that “nothing will remain” of Israel if his country is attacked.
He also said Iran would close down the Strait of Hormuz, strike U.S. bases in the Middle East, and withdraw from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.“Our response to Israel is clear: I think nothing will remain of Israel (should it attack Iran). Given Israel’s small land area and its vulnerability to a massive volume of Iran’s missiles, I don’t think any spot in Israel will remain safe,” said Gen. Mohammad Ali Jafar.
“The US military bases sprawled around Iran are considered a big vulnerability. Even the missile shields that they have set up, based on information we have, could only work for a few missiles but when exposed to a massive volume of missiles, the shields will lose their efficiency and will not work,” he explained.

Western Naval Power Massing In The Gulf As Israel Prepares an Iran Strike

The Strait of Hormuz is only 21 miles wide at its narrowest point
Battleships, aircraft carriers, minesweepers and submarines from 25 nations are converging on the strategically important Strait of Hormuz in an unprecedented show of force as Israel and Iran move towards the brink of war.

Western leaders are convinced that Iran will retaliate to any attack by attempting to mine or blockade the shipping lane through which passes around 18 million barrels of oil every day, approximately 35 per cent of the world’s petroleum traded by sea.
A blockade would have a catastrophic effect on the fragile economies of Britain, Europe the United States and Japan, all of which rely heavily on oil and gas supplies from the Gulf.

Turkey, Israel Share Common Interest in Syria: Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has sent a conciliatory signal to Turkey, saying the two countries have a common interest in Syria.

“We both have a border with Syria, and I am sure we both want to see a stable and peaceful Syria,” Netanyahu said of Ankara. “That is a common interest. There are other common interests that come to mind. I think it is in our common interest to find a way to be able to stop, to arrest, the slide in our relationship and resume a fruitful dialogue,” he said in an interview with The Jerusalem Post

The Betrayal of Sunni Muslim Youth By West And Sauds

There are real injustices that Muslims have a right to be angry about: illegal U.S. drone strikes, foreign pillagers in Muslim countries, frequent American and Israeli invasions of Muslim lands, and betrayal of Muslim values by Arab elites.
In this environment, anger at America and the West is completely justified. But how is that anger being channeled on a political level?
The Shiite youth are represented by Iran and Hezbollah, but who represents the interests of the Sunni Arab youth? No one. The Al-Qaeda agitators are Western intelligence agents, not real leaders to be followed. An independent anti-imperialist Sunni Arab leader has not emerged on the Middle Eastern political landscape since the false flag events on 9/11.

The Western Roots of Muslim Fanaticism

By now it is common knowledge that U.S. and Western intelligence agencies stoked the fires of Islamic fanaticism and sectarianism in Libya, Syria, and elsewhere in the Middle East to achieve their geopolitical goals.

The same radical Jihadists that NATO backed in Libya are now threatening to consume the region in chaos and blood, all to the benefit of the corrupt military-industrial complex, Western neo-imperialist interventionists, and the extremist government in Israel.
Both sides in the conflict are controlled by the same financial interests that have created the conditions for permanent war between the West and the Muslim world.
In Libya, Washington and its NATO partners raised the political profile of Jihadist terrorists by painting them as freedom-loving revolutionaries fighting a noble war against Gaddafi. It was a total fabrication of the reality on the ground, and it worked for the time being, as it did in Afghanistan in the 1980s.

Pentagon prepares to drop the hammer on anti-US Muslim riots?

Leon Panetta (Reuters / Mandel Ngan / Pool)
The US has deployed military teams to respond to unrest in 17 or 18 locations in Muslim nations that are of strategic interest to Pentagon.
"We have to be prepared in the event that these demonstrations get out of control," Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said in a Friday interview with Foreign Policy.
Panetta did not offer further details on the statement, but the magazine quoted a US defense official who confirmed that the Pentagon has deployed 100 Marines to Libya, Tripoli and Yemen, and is also considering whether to send 50 soldiers to Sudan.

Al Qaeda In Yemen Urges Muslims To Kill U.S. Diplomats

DUBAI (Reuters) - The Yemen-based branch of al Qaeda urged Muslims to step up protests and kill more U.S. diplomats in Muslim countries after a U.S.-made film mocking the Prophet Mohammad which it said was another chapter in the "crusader wars" against Islam.
"Whoever comes across America's ambassadors or emissaries should follow the example of Omar al-Mukhtar's descendants (Libyans), who killed the American ambassador," the group said, referring to Tuesday's attack on the U.S. consulate in the Libyan city of Benghazi.

Three protesters have been killed in front of the US embassy in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum after being run over by police vehicles, according to Al Jazeera.
More than 5,000 demonstrators have gathered in front of the embassy, setting fires on a square nearby. Many of the demonstrators were bussed to the location from the UK and German embassies, according to Reuters.
US Military officials said on Friday that the US would be sending Marines to Sudan to defend its facilities there.
A spokesperson for the US embassy says all protesters were expelled from inside the compound.
Local witnesses reported on Twitter that a mob of an estimated ten to 15 thousand people were torching the building.

The Times: Shipload of Libyan arms head to terrorists in Syria

The Times revealed that a largest shipment of weapons has arrived in Turkey to be delivered to the armed groups in Syria.
"A Libyan ship carrying the largest consignment of weapons for Syria…has docked in Turkey," said The Times in an article published on Friday.
The article's writer, Sheera Frenkel, said most of the Libyan ship's cargo is making its way to the armed groups inside Syria.
Quoting a member of the 'Free Army', who called himself Abu Mohammad, the article said the over 400 ton cargo included "SAM-7 surface-to-air anti-craft missiles and rocket-propelled grenades."

Libya Now On US Drone Hit List

According to a Wednesday report posted on wired.com, US Army Lt. Col. Steve Warren said the military has been “flying CAPs (combat air patrols) since the war (in Libya) ended.”

The drones will be used in “spotting the perpetrators” of a recent attack on the US consulate in the Libyan city of Benghazi, the report adds.

US Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens and three staff members of the consulate were killed in the attack on the US consulate building on September 11.

"The US consulate incident took place after a group of people held a demonstration against an anti-Islam movie produced in the United States."

Outrage is growing across the Muslim world over the $5-million blasphemous movie that was financed by more than 100 Jews.

Washington has been evacuating most of its diplomatic staff from Libya to Germany following the attack.

US President Barack Obama has also ordered diplomatic missions in other countries to step up security.

The US navy has dispatched two guided missile destroyers and a 50-member marine unit to the African country.

US-Backed Freedom Fighters Murder US’ Own Ambassador in Libya

Editor’s Note: With Russia openly accusing the West of using Al Qaeda as their direct, militant proxies in Syria and beyond, this latest attempt to purposefully provoke and incite Muslims across the Arab World is an attempt by the West to reestablish the perception that the US and Israel are at war with sectarian extremists, not partnered with them. The film allegedly at the center of the violence, most likely came from the Neo-Con “Clarion Fund” or a project of similar origin.
September 12, 2012 – “I have met with these brave fighters, and they are not Al-Qaeda. To the contrary: They are Libyan patriots who want to liberate their nation. We should help them do it.” -Senator John McCain in Benghazi, Libya April 22, 2011.
Image: Senator John McCain in the terrorist rat nest of Benghazi after marshaling cash, weapons, and political support for militants tied directly to Al Qaeda. McCain’s insistence that the terrorists he helped arm and install into power were “not Al Qaeda” runs contra to the US Army’s own reports which state that Benghazi’s terror brigades officially merged with Al Qaeda in 2007. McCain’s “Libyan patriots” have now killed US Ambassador Stevens with RPG’s most likely procured with cash and logistic networks set up by NATO last year, part of a supranational terror campaign that includes violently subverting Syria – a campaign McCain also supports.

McCain’s “Libyan patriots” have now murdered US Ambassador John Christopher Stevens in the very city McCain spoke these words. An assault on the American consulate in the eastern city of Benghazi, the epicenter of not only last year’s violent subversion and destruction of sovereign Libya, but a decade’s old epicenter of global terrorism, left Ambassador Stevens dead along with two of his aides.
The violence, Western media claims, stems from an anti-Islamic film produced in the US. In reality, the coordinated nature of the attacks on both the US Embassy in Libya, as well as its embassy in Cairo, Egypt, on the 11th anniversary of 9/11, are most likely using the Neo-Conservative Clarion Fund-esque propaganda film as a false pretense for violence long-planned. The Clarion Fund regularly produces anti-Muslim propaganda, like “Iranium,” specifically to maintain a strategy of tension using fear and anger to drive a wedge between Western civilization and Islam to promote perpetual global wars of profit.

NATO Knowingly Handed Libya to Al Qaeda
Indeed, the US Army’s West Point Combating Terrorism Center (CTC) noted that Benghazi and the neighboring city of Darnah served a disproportionately high role in supplying foreign fighters to wage terror against the people of Iraq and Afghanistan – foot soldiers brought in to fuel a destructive and divisive sectarian war that undermined a united Sunni-Shi’ia resistance to Western troops who had invaded.
Image: In Benghazi, in front of the very courthouse McCain and other representatives of the West’s corporate-financier driven foreign policy voiced support for Libya’s terror brigades, sectarian extremists took the streets waving the flag of Al Qaeda, even hoisting it atop the Benghazi courthouse itself. Despite a concerted effort by Western media houses to portray Libya as in the hands of progressive democratic secularists, the country was intentionally handed over to extremists to serve as a base of militancy to destabilize and destroy targets of Western interest around the word.

The men McCain was defending were Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) militants, terrorists linked directly with Al Qaeda according to West Point reports (.pdf), and listed to this day by the US State Department, the UK Home Office (.pdf), and the UN as a “foreign terrorist organization.” McCain was not only rhetorically supporting listed terrorists, but calling for material support including weapons, funds, training, and air support in direct violation of USC § 2339A & 2339B, “providing material support or resources to designated foreign terrorist organizations.”
These same terrorists are now not only the defacto rulers of much of Libya, but are leading death squads in Syria and arming militants in Mali, an exponential expansion made possible by a non-partisan effort including Republicans and Democrats, as well as Bush-era Neo-Conservatives who concurrently lead both anti-Islam propaganda while leading calls to arm the most radical sectarian extremist groups, including groups directly affiliated with Al Qaeda.

Syria is Next
Not only has US policy been exposed as not “promoting democracy” but purposefully spreading destabilization, violence, and terrorism, but the exact same militants behind the death of the US’ own ambassador are literally leading US efforts to visit the same violence, destabilization, and chaos upon Syria.
Reuters, in their article, “Libyan fighters join Syrian revolt,” reported, that Mahdi al-Harati, “a powerful militia chief from Libya’s western mountains,” who is actually a militant of the US, British, and UN listed terrorist organization Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG), “now leads a unit in Syria, made up mainly of Syrians but also including some foreign fighters, including 20 senior members of his own Libyan rebel unit.” Reuters would go on to explain, “the Libyans aiding the Syrian rebels include specialists in communications, logistics, humanitarian issues and heavy weapons,” and that they “operate training bases, teaching fitness and battlefield tactics.”
Image: Libyan Mahdi al-Harati of the US State DepartmentUnited Nations, and the UK Home Office (page 5, .pdf)-listed terrorist organization, the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG), addressing fellow terrorists in Syria. Harati is now commanding a Libyan brigade operating inside of Syria attempting to destroy the Syrian government and subjugate the Syrian population. Traditionally, this is known as “foreign invasion.”

Reuters concedes that the ongoing battle has nothing to do with democracy, but instead is purely a sectarian campaign aimed at “pushing out” Syria’s minorities, perceived to be “oppressing” “Sunni Muslims.”
Reuters’ propaganda piece is rounded off with a Libyan terrorist allegedly threatening that “the militancy would spread across the region as long as the West does not do more to hasten the downfall of Assad,” a talking point plucked straight from the halls of America’s corporate-financier funded think-tanks. In fact, just such a think-tank, the Foreign Policy Initiative, recently published astatement signed by Bush-era Neo-Conservatives stating:
America’s national security interests are intertwined with the fate of the Syrian people and the wider region.  Indeed, Syria’s escalating conflict now threatens to directly affect the country’s neighbors, including Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, and Israel, and could provide an opening for terrorist groups like al Qaeda to exploit.
Along with “War on Terror” proponent John McCain, Al Qaeda’s LIFG and America’s Neo-Con establishment are now operating in tandem, as well as in direct contradiction to a decade of “War on Terror” propaganda. It should be remembered that those who signed this statement, including Elliott Abrams, Max Boot, Ellen Bork, William Kristol, Paul Bremer, Paula Dobriansk, Douglas Feith, Robert Kagan, Clifford D. May, Stephen Rademaker, Michael Weiss, Radwan Ziadeh, were among the very engineers of the fraudulent “War on Terror” that McCain himself is such a fervent supporter of. Radwan Ziadeh, last on the list, is in fact a “Syrian National Council” member – one of several proxies the US State Department is hoping to slip into power in Syria.

Russia, China, Iran, and Others Oppose Terrorism in Syria for a Reason
With Libya’s “democratic progress” exposed as only tenuously covering up NATO’s creation of a nation-wide safe haven for Al Qaeda terrorists to subsequently be deployed against the West’s political enemies across he Arab World and beyond, it will be even more difficult, if not impossible to continue promoting this same “change” in Syria.  Libya, through direct action of NATO, has been overrun by terrorists. Syria’s government is desperately trying to prevent its people from being likewise overrun.
And even as the US buries its own ambassador, killed by terror brigades it itself armed and thrust into power through covert and direct military intervention, in a nation now wrecked by sectarian and tribal infighting, it insists on replicating its “success” in Syria.
Russia, China, Iran, and a growing number of nations have been opposing this campaign of supranational terrorism – with the death of Ambassador Stevens laying bare the true nature of America’s proxy “freedom fighters,” the list of global opposition will only grow, leaving only the most shameless and deeply invested to defend America’s invasive and bloody foreign policy.
