Clashes in Edlib and Homs

The Syrian Arab Army has re-opened the International highway that connects Lattakia and Edlib, after the insurgents planted 5 explosive charges and armed confrontations occurred between the Syrian Army and Free Army (foreign sponsored rebels) militia on the road.

Our correspondent in Edlib said that the clashes resulted in the death of many militants.

In Harem city of Edlib, our reporter there stated that the Public Committees in al-Tarma and al-Qalaa neighborhoods foiled infiltration attempts for the armed men to enter the very neighborhoods.

On the other hand, 13 soldiers of Syrian Arab Army have been martyred during clashes with the insurgents in Hasyaa area of Homs province, as their bodies were transported to the National Hospital in Homs city.

Our reporter in Homs city pointed out that large explosions were heard in the city, as the armed confrontations got more brutal in several neighborhoods of the city.

The correspondent also reported that the blasts occurred in Deir Ba’alba neighborhood, where the neighborhood witnesses continuous armed conflicts between the Syrian Army and the gunmen.

The reporter of Breaking News in Homs stated that the Free Army militias assassinated the chief of Hasyaa’s Industrial Area, engineer Khalid Sa’ed Ezz el-Din, escorted with Engineer Yusuf Ibrahim Tlas and the Driver Yusuf Mahmoud Tlas.

The assassination occurred near the gas station of Qadesh, situated in Homs – Damascus road.
